Thanksgiving Morning

Thanksgiving morning was pretty much perfect. We slept in. We watched the parade on TV...but most importantly IT SNOWED! It was so pretty! Then we had waffles for breakfast. This is Mike's ... my plate would have no bananas and the syrup would be on the side! Hope you had a special Thanksgiving with lots of your favorite side dishes!

P.S. I took this photo with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. Overall, I like it, but what you see in the view finder is not what you get. Maybe this is intentional? Who knows.

xmas goals

during the christmas season, i vow to:

1- make an ornament

2- go crazy decorating with christmas lights

3- take pictures of pixel by the christmas tree

4- see all of my family

5- watch every christmas movie possilbe, as many times as possible

6- see a christmas musical/play

7- go ice skating

8- go to macy's in philly to see their decorations

9- bake christmas cookies

10- don't forget to leave milk & cookies out for santa

what are your christmas goals? let's not let the best season pass us by because we are too busy. let's take the time to live life and enjoy our family.

Happy Tuesday! Not much going on- just a strong determination to edit at least 20 photos tonight. Here is a pic I took with my iPhone and did some fun editing in the Best Camera app.  This is a Kate Spade sugar bowl I bought from the beloved Lenox Outlet store. I believe it is discontinued. It reminds me to two things- see below!

So far today I:

- overslept an hour and a half

- stepped in a puddle (with both feet)

- spilled hot tea all over myself

BUT... I am still determined to have a wonderful day!

Christmas Now!!

So it's been two days since Halloween and I am yet to hear any Christmas music on the radio- this is very disappointing!! Here's to wishing to hear some awesome Christmas songs soon!

I love Halloween! It's always fun to see what my nieces dress up as (all 5 of them, and oh yes, 1 little new nephew too!) also- how can we forget about my Pixel!? He was a bumble bee. Don't forget the best part... eating as many reeses, kit kats, almond joys, etc. as you can and not feeling too guilty about it.
