Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I decided to take a couple of weeks off from the blog. A lot has been going on as I switch careers, and have been on the computer 90% less. It is certainly a change for me.

I leave you this photo of a fan I took with my instagram app.  I've been trying to take a photo everyday, but sometimes I forget and I end up taking a picture as I lie in bed. So here it is folks, enjoy.

So today I braved the snow in heels and gladly did not fall on the sheet of ice I call my sidewalk. I took this picture with my iPhone, took it into Instagram added some fun filters, then brought it into Best Camera and added more filters. I am filter, iPhone app, CRAZY! 

In addition:

I love round-toed shoes. Not only adorable, but comfy.

Add buttons to anything and it instantly becomes amazing.

Christmas Cookies

Tis' the season for an endless supply of cookies and candy in the office. So far today, at 10:49am, I have not caved in!

Thanksgiving Morning

Thanksgiving morning was pretty much perfect. We slept in. We watched the parade on TV...but most importantly IT SNOWED! It was so pretty! Then we had waffles for breakfast. This is Mike's ... my plate would have no bananas and the syrup would be on the side! Hope you had a special Thanksgiving with lots of your favorite side dishes!

P.S. I took this photo with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. Overall, I like it, but what you see in the view finder is not what you get. Maybe this is intentional? Who knows.

Happy Tuesday! Not much going on- just a strong determination to edit at least 20 photos tonight. Here is a pic I took with my iPhone and did some fun editing in the Best Camera app.  This is a Kate Spade sugar bowl I bought from the beloved Lenox Outlet store. I believe it is discontinued. It reminds me to two things- see below!

Christmas Now!!

So it's been two days since Halloween and I am yet to hear any Christmas music on the radio- this is very disappointing!! Here's to wishing to hear some awesome Christmas songs soon!

NYC

i've been a lazy blogger, so much going on this week- including making wedding invitations for my mom and today we went to pick out her flowers. very exciting. here are some pictures from a trip to NYC 2 winters ago. we went for an indesign course for work... at the time they were using quark. quark = not my favorite. anyway, enjoy!

Mike & I went to Ocean City last weekend to scope out our future wedding ceremony spot on the beach and to buy some salt water taffy. The wedding is in less than a week. I cannot believe it! Here are some fun photos from our trip.
