1960's stylin

I'm completely in love with the show Mad Men right now. I know, I know, it's really late to just be getting into it years after it started, but I can't get enough of it. At first, I hated it! After working in advertising, I thought it might kill me, but after a couple of episodes, I am hooked.

I love how elegant all of the ladies on the show look. I would love to wear all of the pretty dresses they do! Here is to wearing jeans less, and dresses more!

sick of snow pictures?

I hope not, because that is all I have to offer with this lovely winter we are having. I can't wait for sunshine and warm weather! Mostly all of my snow day pics are taken from indoors or in my car, my body wasn't made to handle cold weather.

After reading the February edition of Martha Stewart magazine, I am fascinated with antique lockets.  They come in all different shapes and sizes, some are monogramed, some are plain. Lockets are so neat because they tell a little story when you open them. They are so personalized and I think that's what makes them so amazing. Here are a couple I found on Etsy that are oh-so-charming! I think I found my new obsession.

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I decided to take a couple of weeks off from the blog. A lot has been going on as I switch careers, and have been on the computer 90% less. It is certainly a change for me.

So today I braved the snow in heels and gladly did not fall on the sheet of ice I call my sidewalk. I took this picture with my iPhone, took it into Instagram added some fun filters, then brought it into Best Camera and added more filters. I am filter, iPhone app, CRAZY! 

In addition:

I love round-toed shoes. Not only adorable, but comfy.

Add buttons to anything and it instantly becomes amazing.

Follow Up: White Christmas?

Well Christmas was a great day, but there was no snow. Mother Nature waited until today! As of right now, we have seven inches of snow and it will continue through the night. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and is enjoying the snow!

Santa Baby
